New Home, Back where it all began.
Hello friends
Big news......The bike shop has moved! We are back to where it all started 11 years ago. The Building is on HWY 51 just south of River Valley State Bank. We had left after our first year to get the ultimate access to the water but as fate would have it, this is the perfect place for our bike shop & year round operations. I have tried to find a better boat shop but there is no place I'd rather be, so we decided the two store solution is the best choice for now & perhaps the best choice over all.
We will reconstitute the bike shop to make it the "Main Store" with all elements of the boat shop represented. The boat shop will become focused on paddle sports demos/sales, outfitting, lessons & tripping. This makes room for employee housing in the "house" portion of the shop!
Other cool stuff,
- We are on the bike path for rentals.
- Lots of parking, I cant wait to have a place for all my trailers & Vehicles.
- Great storage areas inside & out
- A beautiful fireplace in the main showroom.
- The walls had been hand painted by a local artist with nature/lake/woods scenes.
- A shower for our "ride to work" crew.
I am utterly grateful......
Andrew

Powder Moutian, Utah
Hey all,
Sue & I just got back from Utah. It was all business, mostly site research, product testing (I got new telly skis!), Brew Pub reconnaissance, Powder consumption & Hot tub maintenance. It was hard work but I got through it.
If you have not heard of Powder Mountain you have missed out on what I like to describe as lift accessible back country skiing. If you want a resort then this is not for you. No lift lines, no over priced fancy food, no perfectly mowed runs(there is some grooming). Lift tickets were $47! That's what we pay for the areas in the U.P. Powder Mountain is the second largest area in the country by acreage I'm told.
Best skiing I have had since my days ski bumming with my older brother in Steamboat Co.
OK back to work!

The Crust!
Crust Skiing!
The ice season is on. Crust skiing in the woods has been great this week. We expect the conditions to continue to be consistent as the temp stays in the teens. I'll get some pictures out this week. The American Berkie in Hayward is this weekend. Good luck to all! Andy

Two weeks of livin' the life!
Hey All!
Well it has been a whirl wind lately. First the Wheels in the Woods Bicycles tour. Wow! Over 300 riders & a gorgeous day for riding. The first annual event was a huge success to say the least. We got some great feedback from riders and are pleased that most of what we did was great! We are looking at the route, SAG service, entry fees & other mis-steps. On a whole we were told that the ride was one of the best organized rides out there. Thanks!
The next day Jeff & I were on a plane to Vegas. The Inter bike show in sin city was a huge event for us. Jeff & I saw some really nice products for next season. We are excited about the Kestrel, Fuji & Raleigh line of road & tri bikes. Also some great 29er's are on the way. We will have some double suspension MTN bikes in demo fleet, & more road bikes as well.
After returning from the interbike show I spent a couple of days on Sand Island with Sue & a group that were on our last Baja trip. The islands continue to amaze me.
Again thanks to all who make my life special.
See you on the water & trail Andrew
